A weekly portion of ‘Ethics of our Fathers’ is read from the Shabbat after Passover to the Shabbat before Rosh Hashanah.

Rabbi Shimon: “But three who eat at one table and speak words of Torah, it is as if they have eaten at G-d's table, as is stated, ‘And he said to me: This is the table that is before G-d,’” (Ezekiel 41:22).  from ‘Ethics of the Fathers’ Chapter Three

Chagall lived in France in the Cote D’Azur from 1948 – 1985.  According to Francoise Gilot, Picasso said, ‘When Matisse dies, Chagall will be the only painter left who understands what color is... His canvases are really painted, not just tossed together. Some of the last things he's done in Vence convince me that there's never been anybody since Renoir who has the feeling for light that Chagall has.’
