September 14 – 27 Elul 5772 / The Shofar
It is an Ashkenazi custom to blow the shofar throughout Elul until Rosh Hashanah.
Newness is drawn down during the new moon of Rosh Hashanah.
The full moon of Sukkot reveals all that was hidden during the new moon.
